These 10 ceramic frog beads were handmade by Peruvian crafts people. Molds were used to shape the clay for the frogs, which were fired, painted a solid turquoise and glazed, then fired again for a true ceramic hardness.
The beads are about 12 mm tall, 12 mm across the front, 20 mm front to back. The holes are about 2 mm in diameter. They run horizontally, from front to back. |
